My whole life, I’ve been fascinated with why people do what they do, the human psyche and specifically, how to overcome the restrictions that from birth, we are taught are just part and parcel of ‘being human’.
I’ve never been good at taking ‘no’ for an answer, or accepting something just because someone tells me I should. So instead I became (and still am) a seeker. I studied everything I could get my hands on in the personal development arena, talked to as many people I could and traveled as much of the world as possible, to formulate some ‘new rules’ about what is truly possible for me and hence, what must be possible for others too – including you.
I’ve been a full-time writer for over 10 years now and made a nice living out of it too – but its only been in recent times that I’ve combined my writing with my greatest passion, which is empowering people to create practical solutions to challenges in their lives.

Since I was a teenager, I’ve been obsessed with how to tap into and use, what I believe is the limitless potential within all of us. I’ve searched for ways to be the most effective human being I can be and have always been passionate about sharing that knowledge and my findings, with others who are compelled to become more today than they were yesterday.

I really believe that if you want to attain something, you should seek information from people who already have what you want. It’s no use listening to someone who hasn’t done what you want to do or hasn’t achieved what you want to acheive.
Let me give you an example – when I was being treated for depression, I used to ask psychiatrists and mental health professionals if they’d ever experienced it themselves. Overwhelmingly, they hadn’t. I felt like someone who’d never had their heart broken was telling me they knew how to help me fix mine.
Personally, I believe that it’s only once you’ve ‘been there, done that’ that you have an appreciation for, understanding of and unique wisdom about a certain situation. All the articles on this site are based on experiences I’ve personally been through, overcome and have discovered practical strategies to solve.
By no means do I purport to ‘know it all’…
I fully encourage you, to ALWAYS listen to your instincts, listen to your own wisdom and only to take on board information, guidance, or advice that resonates with YOU (both when reading this site and/or taking in information from other sources).
When you read something, ask yourself…
“Does this feel right to you? Does this feel empowering? Does this feel good?” If so, then the information will most likely be of use to you. Only YOU know what’s best for you – I’d never be so bold as to tell you what will or won’t work for you. I only know what has worked for me and what has worked for friends, associates, colleagues and others that I’ve worked with in sharing my experiences and knowledge.
If you don’t think these strategies or ideas are for you – you’ve lost nothing. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. Maybe there might be an article or a comment here that sparks off a new thought in your own mind that enables you to formulate a workable strategy that’s uniquely your own. Either way, so long as you receive some benefit, some new insights and hopefully some more peace in your life, this site is doing its job.
